Adaptors
Your room has British plug sockets and USB C sockets provided. Should you need an adaptor please contact reception. The voltage is 230V. If you are travelling from a country with 110V like US or Canada, you may need a voltage converter.
Air Conditioning
Please note that our air-conditioning system is currently undergoing maintenance. This section will be updated with full details when the maintenance works are complete.
Airports
We can arrange a private car to any of London’s main airports. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure. For pricing and bookings, please contact Reception.
Please note that traffic conditions in London can vary greatly depending on the time of day
London City Airport From the Blandford Hotel, London City Airport can be reached in approximately 60 to 75 minutes by taxi, or in around 55 minutes by public transport. Guests can take the Jubilee Line from Baker Street Station to Canning Town, then transfer to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) for London City Airport.
Gatwick Airport Gatwick Airport is around 70 to 90 minutes away by taxi. By public transport, the journey takes about 60 to 70 minutes: take the Bakerloo Line from Baker Street Station to Victoria Station, then board a Southern Rail service directly to Gatwick Airport.
Heathrow Airport Heathrow Airport is one of the quickest to access, taking roughly 35 to 50 minutes by taxi or about 50 minutes via public transport. From Baker Street Station, take the Jubilee Line to Bond Street, then change to the Elizabeth Line for a direct connection to Heathrow.
Luton Airport Luton Airport is approximately 70 to 90 minutes from the hotel by taxi, or 65 to 75 minutes by train. Guests can take the Metropolitan Line from Baker Street Station to St Pancras International, then connect to a Thameslink service to Luton Airport Parkway, followed by the airport shuttle bus.
Stansted Airport Stansted Airport can be reached in around 80 to 100 minutes by taxi, or about 75 to 85 minutes via public transport. From Baker Street Station, take the Metropolitan Line to Liverpool Street Station, where the Stansted Express offers a direct service to the airport.

The nearest ATMs to the Blandford Hotel are located at HSBC Bank – 94 Baker Street (approximately 0.2 miles away) and operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Baby Facilities
Most of our rooms are compact, however if you require a Baby Cot, please contact Reception.
Breakfast
A complimentary cooked and continental Breakfast Buffet is served between 7.30am – 10am Monday – Friday and 8am – 10am on weekends and Bank Holidays in the Breakfast Room on the Ground Floor. Please advise the reception team if you have any allergies.

Cancelation Policy
For flexible reservations, if your plans change whilst you are staying with us, and wish to check out early, please provide notice to the reception team no later than 11am, 24 hours prior to the date you wish to check out to avoid an early departure fee.
Car Parking
We do not have onsite parking at the Blandford Hotel. Paid parking is available nearby, with limited short-term spaces (up to a few hours) on surrounding streets via pay-and-display meters or pay-by-phone services. For longer stays or overnight parking, we recommend NCP London Marylebone Road (approximately a 5-minute walk) or Q-Park Harley Street (around a 7-minute walk), both conveniently located within easy reach of the hotel.
Please note that the Blandford Hotel accepts no responsibility or liability for vehicles parked offsite. We strongly advise guests not to leave valuables in their vehicles overnight.
Check Out
Check out time is by 11am. Should you wish to check out later than this, please contact reception who will advise if a late checkout is available, subject to an additional charge. Complimentary luggage storage is available with reception on the day of check out.
Coffee and Tea Making Facilities
Your bedroom is equipped with a Nespresso Coffee Machine and a Kettle for your enjoyment. Tea, coffee pods, milk and sugar can be found in the box next to the machine. Should you require replenishments, please contact reception.
Credit Cards
The following credit cards are accepted in the Hotel: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Diners and American Express. Please note that Cheques, Travellers Cheques and Cash are not accepted. You can pay in GBP or your local currency when settling the bill.

If you do not wish to be disturbed, please make use of the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your bedroom door.

Emergency
In the event of an emergency, please contact reception or dial “999” for police, fire or ambulance.
Eurostar
The Eurostar Terminal is located at St Pancras International Station and can be easily reached by underground or taxi from the hotel. A taxi is usually the quickest and most convenient option.
Alternatively, you can take the Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City, or Circle Line directly from Baker Street Station to King’s Cross St Pancras, a straightforward journey of around 10 minutes—ideal if you are travelling light.

Fire
Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the nearest fire exit. All our guest rooms and public areas are equipped with smoke detectors. In the case of fire, dial “0” or the reception speed dial and give the location. Further instructions on what to do in the case of a fire are given on the back of your bedroom door. The evacuation point is located opposite the hotel entrance.
Foreign Currency
The nearest place to exchange foreign currency is No1 Currency Exchange located at 108 Baker Street, just a 4-minute walk from the Blandford Hotel.

Whilst we have no Gym onsite, we have partnerships with local gyms. Please contact our concierge team for more information here.

Hairdryer
A hairdryer is provided for your use during your stay, this can be found in your wardrobe.
Heating
Our hotel is equipped with a central air conditioning and heating system. You can adjust the temperature from the control panel in your room. To adjust the temperature in your room, simply use the AC control panel located on the wall near the entrance. To operate the AC, press the power button to turn it on. You can adjust the temperature and fan speed using the buttons on the control panel. To change the mode (Fan, Heat, Auto, Cool, or Dry), press and hold the two bottom buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. For cooling, select Cool mode, and for heating, select Heat mode. We hope you enjoy a perfectly comfortable stay. If you need assistance or prefer us to adjust it for you, please contact Reception.
Housekeeping
Rooms are cleaned daily for your comfort between 10.30am – 3pm. Should you wish your room to be cleaned at a particular time, please contact reception. Should you not require your room cleaned, please put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door or contact reception. Everyday millions of gallons of water are used in hotels to wash towels that have only been used once. Please hang up your towels if you’d like to reuse them; towels left on the floor will be replaced.

There are superb museums to visit whilst you are in London. For example, The Science Museum, The National History Museum and The Victoria and Albert Museum are three museums all next to each other in South Kensington. The nearest pharmacy is Boots, located at 121–123 Baker Street, just a 5-minute walk from the Blandford Hotel.

Public Transport
The closest station is Baker Street Underground Station, just a 4-minute walk from the Blandford Hotel. This station provides access to the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Circle, and Hammersmith & City lines, offering excellent connections across London.
We recommend downloading the app “City Mapper” to plan the best routes to explore London.

As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, we kindly ask guests to use the green section of the bedroom bin for recycling items such as paper, plastic, glass and cans.

Room Service
Should you wish to order food or drinks to your room, we recommend scanning the QR code on the menu in the bedroom with our partner “Papyon” for a wide range of options delivered to your door.

Safety Deposit Box
Your room is equipped with a laptop sized personal safe in the wardrobe. Please ensure all your valuables are stored here. Instructions to use the safe are printed on the safe door. Should you have any difficulties or forget your code, please contact reception. Your attention is, however, respectfully drawn to the notice at Reception limiting our liability under the Hotel Proprietor’s Act of 1956.

We have a few items like soft drinks and snacks available for purchase at reception, along with our luxury toiletries from The White Company.
Smoking
The entire hotel is non-smoking, and it is illegal to smoke indoors. A cleaning fine of £250 will be applied should you smoke inside.

We are proud to offer luxury “The White Company” toiletries in your bathroom. With the “Flowers Collection”, transport your senses to an idyllic country garden and breathe in a scent of the naturally growing posies, speckled with droplets of dew. This light and pretty floral blend features uplifting notes of just picked jasmine, rose, neroli, lavender and geranium.
